Order and filter results

You can sort the results of a search by relevance, date, title or author:

Additionally, you can filter results to limit them by availability, resource type, library, author, date, language, subject, journal title, and new records.
The list of filters changes based on the search you performed and adapts to the results retrieved. For example, if you perform a search on a topic for which we do not have any physical documents in the library, the "Availability → Held by Library" filter will not appear. And if you launch a Course reserves search, you will get the title and subject filters.
You can apply the filters to include or exclude records from the search results:

  • Click on the filter name to apply the selected filter. You may also apply several filters at the same time.

  • Select the box on the right to exclude one or more options.

When you are done, click on APPLY FILTERS.
You will always see the filters you have active. You can remove filters from the top menu with the “Reset Filters” option or uncheck them one by one.

If you want to expand your search to references that do not provide access to the full text, select the filter "Expand My Results".
