Perseo, the library search engine

Perseo is the main tool for looking for information that the Universidade de Vigo Library puts at your disposal. In Perseo, you can find printed and electronic documents (books, journals, articles, book chapters, etc.), both subscribed to by the UVigo as well as open access. Besides, it allows you to retrieve the content of the Investigo institutional repository.

Perseo looks through most content subscribed to by the Library, but not all. The exceptions include these databases:

• Aranzadi Instituciones
• JCR
• La página del Medio Ambiente (Ecoiuris)
• MyNews Hemeroteca
• QMemento Contable (Quantor Contable)
• QMemento Fiscal (Quantor Fiscal)
• SABI
• Legalteca
• Tirant Prime

You may access Perseo through the Library website > Search or directly through this link: https://perseo.uvigo.gal/.
Anyone can use Perseo, but if you also happen to be a member of the university community or an authorised external user, you can access personalised services by authenticating yourself. To log in, click on "Log in" in the top right or on "Menu > Library Card".

Advantages of authenticated access:

• View your loans, view your loan history, etc.
• Make reservations.
• Save searches and document lists.
• Manage favourites and create alerts.
